The Lady Stormers 16U team took a 1st place finish to win the Winter Challenge at In The Net in Palmyra on Decmeber 10th. Under the umbrella of strong pitching, lively bats and great defense, the Lady Stormers went 4-0 in the tournament with victories over teams from PA and MD. The Stormers wins were 6-0, 3-0, 5-1, and 3-2 only allowing 3 runs while scoring 16...WOW!! The wins included a no hitter and a 1 hitter!
This shows how all the hard work and long practices pay off, even in the early part of the season.
With this tournament win the Lady Stormers qualified for the USSSA World Series at the 'A' or the 'B' level in July of 2012.
Great Job Ladies! I am VERY proud of each and everyone of you, and let's continue to work hard together - it's only the first step of a great season to come!

The 16U Lady Stormers had a very strong showing in their first tournament of the early 2011-2012 season. Placing 5th out of a strong field of 20 teams, the girls played hard all weekend long. The Lady Stormers went 3-1 overall through the weekend in a tournament loaded with "A" and Showcase quality teams in Quakertown on October 8-9, 2011.
Under the umbrella of strong pitching and 46 hits (!!!), the Stormers victories were 6-2, 10-2, 14-3 with a team batting average of .465, before running into a team from Long Island NY on Sunday. What a great start for the new season...Great job, Ladies!
